Gavin has been an ice hockey player for 8 years. He now plays for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Youth organization. He plays on a 15U AA team which is the highest level of Tier II ice hockey in the United States. He also plays for Recruit U in the offseason which is a select team. Gavin is a goaltender who is always striving to get better and working on perfecting his game. He has been blessed thus far in his young career with great coaches and is thankful for everything his coaches do for him and his team. Gavin's aspirations as a hockey player are to play collegiately or on a junior team.

What does Gavin enjoy most about ice hockey?

A: I enjoy competing at high levels. I enjoy the speed and intensity of the game. I also enjoy being on a team and the brotherhood that comes with it.

What is Gavin's short-term goal?

A: My short-term goal is to continue to work hard, and get better for my team and myself.

What is Gavin's long-term goal?

A: My long-term goal in hockey is to play at the collegiate level.

What is Gavin's best advice when it comes to athletics and competition?A: Always work hard. You never know who else is out there, so be the hardest worker you can be. And get good grades.
